After a significant loss, you may experience all kinds of difficult, intense and surprising emotions such as shock, anger, remorse, guilt and overwhelming sadness. Sometimes it may feel as though the sadness will never let up. While such intense feelings can be overwhelming and frightening, they are normal reactions to loss. When a significant loss is sudden and unexpected often the above feelings are even more exacerbated.

This is where grief counselling with Positive TranceFormations on the Gold Coast can help.

Everyone grieves differently, and how we experience, cope with and process grief is a highly individual thing. How you grieve is influenced by a number of factors, such as your personality type, your life experience, your relationship with the person who has moved on, your faith and beliefs, as well as the nature of the loss and the support network you have available to you.

There is no normal timetable for grief.

Some people begin to feel better in weeks or months. For others it may take longer. If you don’t think you are able to cope, it is important to seek help.

When the grieving process is not progressing with the passage of time (for example, years may have passed since the original loss, and a person’s suffering and/or sense of loss is not only not improving, but getting worse), grief counselling in the form of hypnosis/NLP/EFT can be very effective.

Often such a person feels totally and utterly trapped in a vicious circle of overwhelming sadness and despair that they just can’t seem to pull themselves out of. Often there are unresolved feelings connecting them to the person in question, and they feel unable to move on, almost as though moving on would in some way violate or sever ties with and not honour or preserve the love connection to this person, which is highly treasured.

How Grief Counselling Can Help You

In instances like these, I gently use a combination of NLP, EFT and clinical hypnosis for grief counselling, to allow the affected grieving individual to begin a process whereby they are able to begin to resume living their life, free of the overwhelming sadness that had been incessantly plaguing them, previously.

This process in no way diminishes the powerful, sacred and treasured love connection with the person that has moved on.

It simply allows the experience to begin to take its proper place and perspective in the individual’s life, while freeing the person from the cycle that they had previously felt “stuck in”.

IF YOU HAVE FOUND YOURSELF STUCK IN A CYCLE OF GRIEF FROM THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE – AND IF A LONG TIME HAS PASSED AND YOU ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY MOVING ON,
I CAN HELP.

“After the death of my husband earlier this year (about 7 Months ago), I was feeling despondent, lost, lonely, overwhelmed by grief and no longer wanted to participate in life. After having a phone conversation with Michael, I decided to take his advice, and come and see him for a 3 session program.
Well the difference it has made to me has been tremendous. Our first session went for well over 3 hours, and I walked out noticing an immediate difference. The main thing was I felt much lighter. I still love and miss my late husband very much, however the feeling of overwhelm and feeling completely stuck in that overwhelm, has literally disappeared.
With each subsequent session I could feel myself getting stronger and coming around. I’m now looking forward to getting back in the workforce and taking the time to appreciate and enjoy my relationships with those people in my life that mean the most to me, and the prospect of developing new friendships in the future.
I can highly recommend Michael and Positive TranceFormations to anyone feeling stuck in feelings of grief and loss”
